For Immediate Release Ultra Stable Light Sources with or without Fiber DRAFT RELEASE - Version 2.0 Ottawa, Canada - February 6, 2015 OZ Optics’ series of laser diode sources deliver an ultra stable output, either directly or via a fiber optic cable. Sources are available at wavelengths ranging from 375nm to 2050nm, and with output powers up to 300mW. The system resides in a compact package with both the source and temperature control powered by a single 5 Volt supply. The output power is remotely controllable; while safety interlocks shut the unit off should the ambient temperatures exceed safe limits. An optional fiber pigtail provides a circular Gaussian output, while collimating optics produce beams with divergences below 0.5mrad.
